Excal Balance shafts ?

Hi All,
I am looking to upgrade my Excal 1000 shaft, I currently have a 5 yr. old Babb's that I cut off the welded handle and use a Minelab SD handle so I could adjust the balance to suit me. Any recommendations on any newer improved balance shafts and who to contact would be appreciated.I am 6'4" if that is a consideration.Thank you !

Pascal, Do a Google Search on (rodsbyplugger.com) he makes some GREAT STRAIGHT RODS, and maybe he can make you an extra longer rod for your
