excal and fisher pulse interference

Hello: What a great source of info,
Problem,2 days ago I was contacted by a friend who volunteers for a summer camp hosted by conservation and law enforcement officers.
My friend had seen my recent finds from Florida ,jewelry and coins from surf, beach and an inland lake . Most of this loot came from snorkling with an excalibur.
Anyway after a lot of research and experience I got the tuning down for underwater use and cleaned up.
NOW todays problem, I'm back in Indiana and I have the task of finding a CO's wedding band in a confined swimming area on murkey lake with very little visability underwater.
1st da 2hr search only junk battery dead
2nd da full charge and my detector won't balance. The only difference is now there are 3 scuba divers putting on a demonstration with the kids and like the night before 1 guy minus scuba gear has a Fisher Pulse going.
It seemed like when he quit with the Pulse mine settled down but I wonder after 5 hrs in a 1500 sqare ft area around the pier where this took place
Any ideas are welcomed as this CO's wife is a bit upset.
Thanks a mil

I go detecting with a friend, when we both use the etrac no problems when i use my Dual Field pulse we can't get within 15meters of each other due to the interfearence my Pi causes him, my sov also goes crazy when i get close to his etrac, stay well clear of the other detector or take turns in the area

Thanks for the come back, you have pretty much confirmed my suspicions.Lets me know my Excalibur is probably OK. I went back to search again yesterday but there's a new crowd at the swimming area and it might be some time before I get to try again.
Good hunting

Thanks goodmore: Been thinking about a Garret pin pointer for underwater but specs are a little vague as to how waterproof that may be and now thanks to your response I can rule out the 580.
Good Luck with your hunting
