DO YOU THINK THAT I COULD BE-ABLE TO TELL THE TONES APART BETTER WITH GRAY GHOST
HEAD PHONES???
I WAS TOLD TO LEAVE THE KROSS ON UNTILL I GET USE TO THE DETECTOR BUT SOME TIMES IT ALL SOULDS THE
SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i dont have an excal but the sov.Been using the GG since I got the sov.Last week I tried a new set of koss......guess what....you cant compare apples and oranges.The koss are more comfortable but the sounds arent as loud and sharp as the GG.After 1/2 hour with the koss I put them away and used my trusty GG's.Guess I will be selling the koss now!

The tones will stay the same pitch as the Koss, but the sound is much more crisp with the G.G. phones. Have Minelab do the work for you. They can put the Ikelite connectors on so you can have the choice of either set of headphones.

I will only use the Koss as a back-up set now. It will cost a few bucks for the mod, but you will be very happy with the results. John

THANKS JOHN I THINK ILL SEND IT IN ,WHILE THEY HAVE IT I WOULD LIKE MINE-LAB TO PUT A CONNECTORS ON SO I CAN CHANGE COILS!!!!!

LS, I told you to leave the coil stock, but never told you to leave the headphones stock. Waterproof connectors, will void your warranty and that is going to be an issue with leaking, mark my words. The Gray Ghost's are FAR superior in every way to the stock Koss, NIGHT AND DAY!
