excal 11 ? 8 or 10 inch coil option

Happy holidays to everyone ! Im still undecided on an excal 11 with the 8, or 10 inch coil ,im going to purchase one in march, and dont want to make a mistake and get the wrong coil option,i here thier is alot of 10 inch coils swinging in the surf now days maybe due to the newer slim ,lighter ,version coil,i do like deep seeking machines .The kind of hunting i will be doing is surf up to chest ,shoreline ,and beach hunting ,i will not use under water ,i like coin ,relic, jewlery, hunting and dont want to miss these targets ,however i due have an interest finding the old colonial coins from the 1700s 1800s .I am new to water hunting and been hunting on land for 33 years ,im retiring in the spring and will have plenty time to hunt more ,as i didnt in the past ,i respect all hunters and appreciate any excalibur advice from you all that you could give me on coil options Earl Maryland .

I have the 10" version and it works fine for me. There are some that prefer the 8" coil due to ease of movement in the water. I dont find any issues with the10" coil and love the machine!
