Excal 1000 wired connections

Used my Excalibur for the 2nd time the other day. When I was cleaning it to put it away I noticed where the wiring connects to the battery that the black wire cover has moved away from the base of the harness and I was seeing blue and red wire insulation. Is something wrong here or is it ok to just push the black wire insulation up over the wires and into the harness hole for it.

If I'm understanding you right, the wire harness coming from the control housing to the male connector for the battery. The male connector where the wiring exits the metal part is where the wires are showing? This would be a direct entry point for water. Should not be showing any wiring below outer covering. Don't think just pushing it back in is the answer.

Thats the exact spot. Thanks. I was thinking about pushing it in and sealing it with silicone. I'm gonna call Minelab on Monday.

I removed the bolt that is there and put the black wire insulation back in place and sealed the entire area in the bolt with clear silicone sealer.
