Excal 1000 settings

Ok, I had my Excal all set up and my kids got to it and reset all my settings.....I have no idea where they were...What are the best settings for the Excal for beach hunting. Thanks.

on my excalibur 2 on dry sand i set sensitivity at 2 and discriminate at 3
in the wet i set sens to 6 and keep playing withi disc a bit with a very faint of threshold this seems to work fine for me now..

I go disc all the way to the left and it never moves, sens about 6, volume ...almost all the way...maybe just a little back, and then threshhold turn until you can hear and then turn it down until you cant or just cant. Good luck

I use disc 1(min)volume full, thereshold just audiable and sens depends on where i am but a 12 o'clock start to see how things go then adjust acordingly, up or down for a steady thereshold
