Example Of Large Civil War Camp In Va. 1862-1863

Here Great example of Reg. Camp in Winter 1862-1863 in Staff rd Co. Va. Most all great large camps are gone forever, under houses, shopping centers. When found in Late 1960s by first times hunters, the amount items found and quit was unthinkable. Most hunters on avg. found5 Plates A day was normal , 100s bullets, and lots neat dug bottled and just about any state button you wished for>> Boy The good Old day where fun, ever one grave us permission to hunt, and very close to landowners. Then in Late 1970s greedy land co. purchased large amount land camp where on but "No Relic Hunt ion"
 
What I would give to hunt a site like that "WOW"
