Gunnar, first...Good job on the gophers.
Second, glad to see you still going strong and posting some videos. Some decent depth on a few items there, but man is that thing a chatter box even when no target is under the coil. I recently got my audio fixed on the computer I mostly use (I have access to two), so I haven't been watching all the videos for the last several months from people and am trying to catch up, so don't be surprised if I chime in on a few of your older videos, as my video watching has been sporadic for several months, only watching ones here and there that I just couldn't pass up when using the other computer. Now that my main ones audio is fixed I've got some catching up on stuff I've been passing on.
Again, good video. And hey, meant to tell you this a while back, but you sure don't talk like you type.
Never judge a book by it's superficial cover as the old saying goes. Good job there with another excellent video.
Oh, by the way...I think you said in the past you are kind of restricted right now as to where you can hunt. Man, I can tell you are the kind of guy who justs loved to dig anything, and will make some serious finds at the right spots when the opurtunity comes along to get to them. Some of us with access to a lot of nearby good public hunting sites get a bit spoiled and start to get picky about just what we think is dig worthy. I know in the past you've dug a lot of nails just looking for coins under them with your Sovereign and such. 99.9% of all hunters won't put in that kind of hunting. We grow out of it in the first year or so, but as spots continue to dry up your kind of attitude is what people need to have again in order to start making great finds again at "dead" spots.
I do that "dig it all" stuff here and there but admit not as often as I should, but I'm starting to more these days as the easy silver is long gone, at least at some sites where they can't sink out of the range of other detectors. In those spots you've got to stop looking for the deep ones that don't exist (can't sink at certain sites out of range of other machines), and start digging the iffy bad coin hits or junk to see what's under it. You remind me of my first year hunting, as I'm sure you do others who fell into bad habits too.
