That is about permissions.

First stop door knock the lady was real nice although we only had about an hour or so since she was leaving for work but we can come back tomorrow.

My first dig on a 12-30 12-31 signal turned out to be an 1875 Indian, numbers a bit low when I saw the coin I was thinking it was going to be a fatty but there was some iron in with it. Got some wheats ended up with 7 for the day. Diane ended up with 6 for the day, she had a nice little coin spill here an 1896 Indian and three old wheats in the same hole. She also got her first thimble ever it is aluminum. We had to go when the lady left for work, moved over to a spot I had hunted the other day getting an Indian and Merc at, only got a couple of wheats there. The guy who owns this house which is used for storage told us to go to his old house and hunt there. Just down the road a bit I found a Shell token and an old lead soldier. I decided it was too dry and his lawn was nice so went back and told him we would come back after it rains some and he said that it was nice that we were concerned. Super nice people, this is the same family that gave me permission on the 3,500 acres of fields. One of his workers told me to go back into town and see this guy who has the old house, that in the 1870's had a drug store, a bar and a brothel in it! Very tough hunting much iron in it the guy said it had a carriage house that he tore down and he did remove some dirt from the yard. Diane got a wheat here and I got a 1919 Merc. The Merc was a crummy signal coming at best 12-38 but sound seemed a bit better than the numbers, hole was loaded with nails but the Merc was there! The Pointer head stamp is an unusual one they made shells for Sears, the Pointer was made between 1890-1920.
