Out yesterday. Man, blue skys, high 40's. Nobody around but some dog walkers. Had the Standard Coil on & just took my time- dug almost everything. This Soccor/ little league field always gives up allot of clad. I usually hunt this with the big boys GTI 1500 / AT Pro. You guys ever get that signal that sort of waves around and settles between mid screen & low penny? So looky here what are you guys doing up here? Nickels, got 3 of them up there and a couple of bad Zincs. This field has some deep top soil that was trucked from a farm. Sometimes get a horsrshoe. Anyway the Ace was hitting some Q's at 6" maybe 7" Couple of dimes- Deep side of 5" No goodies yesterday but 50 coins for $6.51. I got to tell ya guys it was such a nice peacefull day for me. You guys know the feeling. Anyway this Friday trading my digger for my long handled scoop, heading for the Gulf beaches till spring. Retirement ya know.
 
So you'll be changing right back to the GTI 1500 / AT Pro.

That sure sounds like one of those wonderful peaceful days when you are just in the zone with your machine..:clapping:.Thats a good coin count by golly! A good day to head off to the warmth and the sand hunting.

Going to Puerto Rico for 2 weeks Jan 17 . Never detected on the beach except in Nam. Any one got any suggestions. I just bought a Garrett 350. Found my first dime 1921 Merc so I guess thats my hot spot.
 
Is security a non issue? It sounds like you have detected at this location in the past.
My feeling is the Ace 350 is not a great salt water detector. There are guys on here
that have a fine tuned setting for the beach that would help you. I believe you have
to notch out one slot before the nickel and one slot before the penny sensitivity set at
about three notches wish the best post the pictures
