Ever Wonder How The 8.5 x 11" DD Compares to the 9" x 12" Concentric? Here's Some Data To Debate.... :nerd:

Now my soil is quite neutral with small amounts of mineralization. I prefer the large concentric coil over the DD coil, especially when hunting for coins and jewelery. The concentric coil has more accurate ID capabilities and reads bottle caps as such in most cases.

Now I haven't had the opportunity to do any comparisons in heavier mineralization capabilities. It would be great if someone could chime in on their experiences in higher mineralization

I believe it is the blunted tip and tail design that makes the DD very deep detecting coil. In hot ground that DD will outperform that big concentric. NIce graph!
