Ever seen a Beachcomber? Little Whites

I ran across this little fella several years ago when my son was small. This seemed like the perfect playground hunter for him at the time. I had almost forgotten about it, but ran across it last night. Thought I would share. Have you ever seen one of these? Any info would be appreciated. It still works but acts like the sensitivity knob has dirt down inside. It is really hard to get it to get a slight hum so you can here the signals. I would guess it needs cleaned.

Thanks, Don, HH

Wow. It's in great shape.

White's UK has the beachcomber range still listed on their site --> http://whites.co.uk/af101.html

Wow, how cool you found it on their website. I know that i have had this detector for more than 10 years. My son, is 21 now. He hunted with me just a few times when he was little.

Thanks, Don
