Well I'll tell you what, Deathwind, I bought half a dozen high priced folders ranging from $80 to $250... what do you think happened to them?.... that's right, lost! Some within weeks, just about make you sick. So I decided that I just couldn't afford that, but a guy always needs a knife.

The above 2 knives would handle just about any situation. The western bowie I have had for 30 years. I have sharpened it so many times, the blade is starting to get thin. I have skinned moose and bear with this knife, gutted king salmon, and made a lot of hot dog sticks. The sheath is the second one I had, the first one rotted away. The little knife below it is the one I've been buying for about a year now, for $7.79 at Wal Mart, and for the money, a great little knife (even if they are made in China). I keep several new ones in the drawer, because if I lose one, I want another knife right now. If anybody's interested, the name of the knife is the Ozark Trail in the sporting goods section of Wal Mart. Sharpens easily and holds an edge fairly well.
