Ever feel like Gollum on Lord of the Rings?

Remember the skinny ugly character on Lord of the Rings that loved the ring? Anyway....
I saw a post on at a public tot park where a man lost his 14k wedding ring and was offering a reward so I called him and we eventually communicated. He was out with his kid and decided to do a few push ups on the parallel bars and took his ring off and put it in his shorts' pocket. Sometime after the exercise and after a long walk home he noticed the ring was not in his pocket, so he went out in a torrential downpour to maybe find it at the park. A futile adventure here in Florida; I thought of building an Ark after the first night. The waters receded and I went out to the park to "MXT" the site. Well the first hit was a strong 35'er and the ring was glowing in the mud! Right there at the parallel bars! I knew it was his ring but the Gollum factor kicked in for a second.;.. It looked so nice and shiny. A bit small for my finger, but still as the Aussie's say " A big of Allwright " . Could fetch a nice bit of change. A `nice 14k ring ...
I knew the decision that I had to make. Called up the man and tell him the good news. We meet tonight to hand over the ring to its' rightful owner. A happy man and a good deed done in the name of MD'ing.

Gold is over $1400 today.. HH Easyswing
