Evenings short hunt and observations

I spent an hour or so at a ballfield that has a little age to it. I only ever hunted this once before and found a few wheats but tonite I was hitting targets all over. Three Wheats in the forties and a 26 Merc well worn. These coins were all in the 7 to 9" range other than the usual clad that was mostly in the 4 to 5" range except a deep roosevelt. Anyway my sensitivity was on Auto plus 3 running at 26 and I could push it to 28 or somtimes 30 so very good in that respect. Problem was that my Pro coil struggled and would give the little bleeps and chirps even at 7"!! I was pushing my abilities to find them. I could hear deeper ones that would thump here and there but not good enough for me to try and PP them and that was Maxxing the sensitivity!! I would switch to an open Quick mask screen and those numbers were all over the place but the sound was there and the Conductive number did not bounce to much. I even tried to do another noise cancel and turn "Deep" on but that did very little for it.

Very frustrating to just walk by them wishing for a better coil!!

So my question is which coil? I know its been asked a thousand times, I just wanna get deeper so I can hear the "Thumps" better.

Anyone have a good solid suggestion?

Thanks

13 inch ultimate is my suggestion or 15x12 sef should take care of that! If I have issues with pinpointing I just wiggle backwards till I loose the signal from two directions and dig at that point,I had a few " thump" sounding targets that turned out to be well worth digging including my favorite silver ring that was made out of a 1915 barber half!
