Evening yard find.....SILVER

7Creeks

New member
Spend about an hour hunting a yard. Two silvers :clapping:....'64 Roise and a '42 war nickel. Matchbox tow truck, some keys, a button and the typical junk. One neat find is a Lum & Abner weather prophet.

neat button i like it whats it say one the back?

Very neat finds. I really like that tow truck, but am crazy about that Lum n Abner piece. I was just listening to them yesterday while in the combine. They are probably my favorite comedy routine. Thanks for the pictures.

Here is a better photo...
A Lum and Abner Walkn Weather Prophet Pin, 1.5" tall brass badge with cut-out area at center holding piece litmus paper meant to turn blue in fair weather, pink in rainy weather or purple in cloudy weather from Horlick's Malted Milk, 1936.

Let's see what's going on down in Pine Ridge!

By golly Abner, I believe that's our ring.

By doggies Lum, I believe you're right.

I'll see.

Hello! Jot 'em down store!

This is LUM 'N" ABNER!
