Eurotek Pro Users Manual

http://cdn.metaldetector.com/Manual/EN/Teknetic_EurotekPro_Manual.pdf

I took mine out today to an old boarding house and a plowed field for a few hours, found a musket ball, some lead and brass, some toy cars, and some clad coins. Some were 6 - 8 inches deep. I also found a Round rusted washer 10 - 11 deep. As a relic hunter I like the large VDI scale with a broad Iron range of 1 - 39. You can adjust the volume of the Iron so it's lower than the mid and high tones, you can still hear it that way so you know it's there, but it doesn't drive you crazy. The menu system works great with + and - buttons to make changes, and an IRON indicator comes on when you go over the Iron. You can save your settings by pressing menu for 8 seconds so next time you turn it on you have your settings. Pinpointing works great with VCO that you can detune by pressing Pinpoint button a second time. For the money this machine has great features, and is light weight at 2.5 pounds. I don't need icons for my type of hunting. I also have a V3i, Cortes, and Gold Bug with 5" coil for extremely trashy cellar holes.

BTW, the settings I used today were sensitivity 8, disc 0, volume 15, as I wanted to know where there was Iron but only at half the volume of nonferrous targets.

Why would FT make a machine that you can't ground balance? It looks like it has some very nice features. Maybe this is the test the waters for the NEW FLAG SHIP MACHINE that is coming ( I hope soon) out. The machine has a lot of the same features as the G2.

This machine was primarly designed for the European hunters but works very good in the US as both a coin and relic hunter.
You are right ColonialEraHunter, if you relic hunt, then the ID numbers are not that important.
There is a couple videos on youtube describing this new machine too.

I live in upstate New York where we have good ground conditions so the ground balance is not an issue for me, I forgot to mention the recovery speed was also very fast when going over multiple targets.
