Recently traded for it and did some air test and such but I am not high on airtest results . Anyway decided to take it out and give it a try today at a local park . Set Sens at 10 and disc at 35 volume at 11 Started sweeping the coil and I was impressed on how quiet the machine was not chatty or anything . Id'd very well as I was just testing it anyway and dug a few solid signals even with the numbers jumping a couple of digits just to see if it was Iding them close and I must say the Id was spot on Depth was really close most targets were within an inch of being correct every time . It does like them smashed twist tops but if you listen real close and check target from all directions it will give you that slight grunt on them . For the price they are selling for I have to agree with a few others it may be a keeper for a nice backup and for other people to use when I get a hunting partner LOL. usually have to go by myself. Also Id's Iron very well . Light easy swinging only issue I have with it is the pin point tone is really irritating so I found Myself not using it but just x-ing my targets . Now this is with the 8 inch coil so cant complain about the coil. I would like to try one of the 9.5 NEL coils for it just for fun could be killer machine will the F2 coils work on this machine cause I would like to get a small hocky puck style coil as well Found a lot of Headstamps an a old Lipstick tube made of copper and about 9.00 in Clad and one 1926 wheat cent it was about 8 inches deep Ill stop rambling now . except for I almost sold it as I had it listed for trade and then told myself I did not give it a chance because when I picked it up at first I said this thing is like a Toy but I admit I was wrong I think it found a home
