Euro tek PRO Gold ?

Just ordered the Pro and should get it shortly.
Getting the 8 inch concentric coil with mine.
Reviewing past post and seems to be not many
gold finds done with this detector.
I see silver and lots of coinage.but lack of gold
items .Am I missing something or are they
not digging the lower VDI's ?

Well I believe that the guys who are mainly using the eurotek pros are searching them in trashy areas like old camp sites and such. I think they will do great for gold jewelry since they lock on to brass and other lower conductive targets. Screw caps, pop tops and other odd and end items come in loud and clear so I do not see why gold would not. Just give it some time. I also believe that the eurotek pro has not caught on to everyone just yet becuase of the popularity of the other machines out there that has controlled the market for the past 10 or 12 years. I find it to be the best in its class and even better that detectors that are priced even 100 bucks more than the eurotek pro is. You will really like it, Tim

That's where it will fail in highly mineralized soils, so prospecting and beach hunting will be pretty ordinary. Price wise though wow, amazing price for what you get. Its great to see another metal detecting company pushing the boundaries and only means better things for the consumers on all aspects. It just keeps getting better and better, I love this hobby ).
