Well I have been fighting this Ace 350 every since I got it(in a pawn shop) I thought is was funny it has a 6 1/2x9 coil on it instead of the 8 1/2x11 it was supposed to have. I have been getting one was signals and just driving me Bonkers. Well today I put on my sniper coil and the thing works flawlessly. I can only find pennies But they are mostly from the 70s and one square nail. Someone with a better detector must have cherry picked this area already.So if you stick to it and don't give up you always find the answer to your problem. A good life lesson. :)
 
Glad you figured it out and good luck and happy hunting. All I found last week on 2 hunts is 12 pennies and one ring. It was gold plated I believe, but you never know what's under your coil. Get the 8.5 X 11 and see what happens.
