I fired up my new detector today and decided to "sweep" the back yard. After ONE step I got a good solid hit! After pinpointing it, I took my trusty trowel and dug in. Nothing! Recheck the detector...it's still down there! More digging, check the spoil with a wand device, more digging. About 4" down I found my "treasure"! It was (and still is) a scrap of aluminum siding left over from instillation about 1990. It may be worth 1/10 cent, but to me its priceless. I ACTUALLY found something!!!!!
