Eureka gold coil

I have a minelab Eureka gold with a coil that is going bad, has anybody used any good alternitives to the factory 10 in elliptical coil, or should I just get a new factory coil. any help would be appreicated

Is it the coil or the connector? If it is the connector you can fix it fairly easily...there are some forums that show how to fix the coil also...

For myself, I would just buy a new Minelab coil...

Its the coil I ordered a new 8 inch gold search minelab coil made for the Eureka Gold, I herd they are a little better on the small gold. and I did watch some vidios on how to repair the coil, so I will give that a try too
