Etrac vs. SE?

I've been thinking of getting an Etrac for a while now even though I have only had the SE for ~ 14 months. I know on the Explorer forum they will chide me a bit for saying so, but so many folks are killing it with these machines. I enjoy my machine, but think I should have the best as my parks are hunted out. Can';t understand why me buds are finding so much all the time.
I'd appreciate a few opinions on the transfer, whadda ya think?

The SE is a great detector but in my opinion the E-Trac takes it to a whole other level. Far more stable and faster. The think I hated about the SE was going so slow. I've pulled a lot of deep old coins from the same spots with my E-Trac that I had "cleaned out" with my SE.

Here is just a few of the goodies my SE had missed that my E-Trac found. Each picture is a trip to the same spot about 30' x 40' I had pounded with every detector I have owned including the SE. It was almost like virgin ground below 8".

Ditto! Southwind said it all. Byrce uses an E-Trac as well as an Explorer. Even see him post over here some of the time. The exact same question you posed has been discussed ad naseum on here, the Explorer forum, and the metal detecting forum. Use the search engine the forum has and look in those three sections and you'll get lots of information upon which to base a decision to change or not. I read it. I changed to an ET! jim
