Etrac using wireless headphones?...

Donny nj

New member
Anyone using wireless headphones with the Etrac if so what kind do you suggest and how are they working for you. Thanx

I just bought the light weight Deteknix wireless headphones. It's so nice not having to deal with the headphone wires. I can't hear any signal lag and the sound is as good as any good quality headphones. I highly recommend them.

Hey Donny,

I bought a pair of the Deteknix wireless headphones early this year for around 100.00 bucks.
The tones are way different then the tones of my killer bees and I don't want to spend the time trying to learn new tones. I may try this winter playing around with them and see what I can get worked out. On the plus side as gfeulner said they are very light weight and having no cord is a sure bonus.
That is my 2 cents worth.

I prefer the Auvio Wireless headphones. They are not bluetooth so there is no lag. They are no longer made but worth picking up if you can find a set.

I use the Rapoo wireless headphones. I believe it's model is 3070. Super light, recharges by USB, good for about six hours on a charge. Works great for me. If hunting all day, I recharge them while eating lunch.

I haven't noticed any real problems with lag time.

Rumors has it Garrett is soon coming out with wireless harness, 5 x times faster than Bluetooth.

I have set of Rapoo's as well. I used them for awhile, but my Grey Ghost was just better, so.. LOL

I sacrificed the wireless for the quality. But, I would use them again, especially if it get's really hot.
