ETRAC to Z-LYNK Pairing Issues

Paired ETRAC to Grey Ghost...works but reduced volume to headphones EVEN with detector volume max at 30 AND Z-LYNK volume maxed out. Additionally, volume is also partially being emitted through the detectors loud speaker.
Seems like it took the overall volume and split it between the headphones and the detectors speaker. I checked all connections and headphone toggle switches; tried everything with the same result (problem)
Anyone???

Had the same low volume issue with the z-lynk/Gray Ghost Deep Woods on my E-Trac.
 
Hey Indotguy...did you happened to try the Z-LYNK with another set of headphones with the 1/4"? I did try the Deep Woods Z-LYNK with my XTERRA 705....worked with lower volume still but with this detector, NO volume being emitted through the detector external speaker...it's all weird if you ask me.

No I didn't try another set of phones and didn't try another detector. After a couple test runs I also noticed the audio was totally cutting out for a few seconds at times. That and the volume issue made me decide to cut my losses and send them back. The Gray Ghost work fine hardwired to the E-Trac.
