Etrac threshold

Does the Etrac have an audible threshold in a discrimination mode? Can you be running a disc pattern and have the threshold up just loud enough to hear it, so any interruption in the threshold can indicate something at the edge of detectability that wouldn't register otherwise?

Best way is Threshold level at just above hearing level and the Threshold pitch at 1 . variability and limits at 30 .

Yep not only have a threshold but you can set the pitch of the threshold to what works for you. But, that pitch will be the pitch of your target response. You even have options to change how the targets respond using the normal, long or smooth response. Ive read several use the long just because of the reason you asked,,,it holds on to the signal just a bit longer compared to normal. I pretty much use normal response. Hard to break old habits, lol.
Hope this helps,
John

I use the normal response for the beach so it separates the targets better. Long ,smooth, pitch hold just seem to much like hard work and slow down recovery I think.
