Etrac nail high tones??

Gannon

New member
Probably a dumb question, but in Andy S coin pattern when I get a faint high tone in multi, I have always have to use open screen to check it. If its 35/46 it gives a real high tone.
My other detectors the at pro and fisher f70 null out of if descrim out, I cant hear them. Why do they produce a high tone almost like a giant silver deep in the ground if its iron??

The etrac works the same way. It will null on anything that is in the blackened zone of your current discimitation pattern. When you go to the "open screen" which I'm guessing you are doing via Quick Mask, you are essentially checking the target in all metals mode.

Keep in mind that you can also apply simple discrimination in quick mask if you chose. See the manual for details on that.

Ohh.. didn't know that I will check it out!
