ETrac = Flying Eagle Cent

only had my Etrac a few days and only maybe 4 hours of hunt time. No silver yet but it is showing me how good it is and I just barely know how to use it. saw a little 6' square of ground under a pine tree that was thawed out along a sidewalk and in 1/2 hour the first hit was a Zinclon, Second one I thought was an Indian Head seeing the wreath on the back, then a 41 wheat, got back in the truck and saw it was a 1857 Flying Eagle Cent. should have went back and found an Indian Head and had a fourfecta on pennies

Looks good. What cleaning method did you use??

Nice Congrats :clapping:after years of hunting never found one but its on my list love them flying eagles have a great year HH

electrolysis and I use equal parts of salt, baking soda, and 1/4 of that with baking powder, a 6 volt battery and not a charger thing, the Amps kill coins. voltage is good, amperage is bad and a set of jumper wires from walmart that's $2

Beautiful man!! Looks great. HH

Congrats on the flying eagle! :clapping: Sometime back, I'd bought a box deal at an auction, it was loaded with mostly small odds & ends, In the bottom of the box I found 3 flying eagles in an old aspirin tin. All were in very good condition, I sold them on Ebay and averaged $26.00 each on them. I'd like to find a jar full of them. GL & HH :beers:
