Hi guys
I have been trying on and off for the last 2 weeks to get the Etrac emanulator.
I have gone to the 2 different links but for some reason it will not let me get to the download.
Would someone please tell me what I'm not doing.
Now,it's winter I really wanna check it out.
Thanks Dan

Keep trying...I had trouble myself trying get it to download...Once you get it you will
find it worth the effort....must be almost like having the machine itself. Amazing what the computer
genius mind can do.

Hi There has to be somebody smart enough to send me the e-trac emulator in us coins. I have it in foreign coins but would like to use us coins. Now my problem is i am using vista and just do not know how to get the us coins in the emulator. I would need a step by step instructions on what to do . Not to smart on the PC so any help would be great.

Go to this page: http://www.thebeepgoeson.com/display.asp?page=E-Trac_Emulator_ZIP And Download US Coins to you desktop. (_E-Trac_US_Coins.zip )

1) "Right" click on the (START) button. This is at the bottom left corner of your screen.Note: on Vista it dosn't say start.

2) Click on Explore.

3) Click on (C) Drive.

4) after you click on (C), look for "Program Files".

5) Click on Program files, and when it opens up look for "EtracEM-V1-en"

6) Click on "EtracEM-V1-en" and then go to "datazips" folder and click on that.

7) After opening "datazips" DRAG AND DROP the US coin file you just downloaded into the datazips folder. This means "LEFT" click and HOLD on the downloaded file and drag it or move it to the datazip folder than let up on the left click and drop it.

:geek: Close out of that window. Now you have just added US Coins to you Emulator. Open your Emulator , go to file and click on it.

9) Click on Targets ZIP files, and you will see US Coins. Click on it and you are ready to go.

John Thanks mate but in step 6 where do I find, or how do i get to the Datazips folder? I just see the shortcut button

Thanks

John, Found it, I had not gone through the correct file path. In step 3 vista users should look for VistaOS (C:)

Minelab has made the emmulator available directly from their website for some time now . . . . . no password required / no sign-up required . . . . .

Here's the link to the page . . . .

E-Trac Emmulator Link on Minelab's site

Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will find the file to download.

I see tha there is and "Export pattern file" in the Emulator. Is this a way that we can create a pattern on the emulator? Then save the pattern and upload it to the ET?

NVM guys. I see that The beepgoson is working on it.
