What new features do you think it will have or should have? I know minelab will be coming out with something soon this whites vision is a big deal.

Black on White screen instead of the Black on Gray.

I don't think that ML needs to go to far as a color screen, but maybe make it better at being able to see the numerical values and cross-hair display.

Just my 2cents

Vision?

I've seen it. It's nice.

I prefer the E-trac. I don't like the Vision's sounds.

Color screen? Nice. So?

Is it better? Better than?

I don't see too many people selling their E-Tracs for Visions. Doubt that will happen. Just my opinion.

I'm sure the Vision will be a big seller here in the US but because the coins are represented as US coins, the Vision will be of limited popularity anywhere else in the world for coin shooters. White's customers are pretty loyal and the Vision will be a big hit with them.

It certainly will be fun watching the arguments on how this detector is better than that detector. Always happens and always will.

Just human nature I guess.

In no particular order what I "think" will be ...

Color screen
Improved ID'ing
Wireless headphone capability
Less weight
More depth :)
Better hand grip
Possibly built in in-line pinpoint probe

Well, ok maybe not the probe! :)

I actually would've considered hocking my EXII if the E-Trac had a wider TID range. Regardless of the value of that, it would get me believing the "resolution" was better. 1-50 just doesn't seem right and shelling out ANOTHER $1500 when your spidey sense is tingling is tough to do. I know a lot of people have tried to convince me 1-50 was plenty - but the strange love affair people have with their detectors has led me astray more than once. I have a detector that works fine so it's hard to go what amounts to either backwards or laterally.....1-99 or 1-199 would be a good marketing move for them if nothing else.

headphone, the handle and coil would be light as a feather. More depth, no, I think from what I hear its as deep as you want it to be.

Humm
How about water proofing the control housing for those bad rainy days ( i know we have the cover for the control panel but still)
and ability to put your personal owners information password protected

Shambler, you're right about the 1-50 range on the etrac. from what i understand, the explorers have a wider range of target id than the etrac. every coin under the sun seems to be a 10-13 FE, and just about everything else reads here too. Put iron next to the coin and if your iron mask is too high, you will lose the coin.(coins next to iron changes the Fe #'s)thinking of getting an explorer so i can compare the two and see for myself.
