ESE - Split Screen

My ESE did the split screen thing twice today. In the SmartFind screen, half of my screen "dropped" about 1/8" inch while the other half stayed normal. Once I turned it OFF and back ON, the problem went away. I'm assuming this is the same problem that others have posted about. Do I need to call Minelab on Monday?

Don't get me wrong, even though I had this problem, the ESE still performed well with the Sunray X5 coil. I hunted a picnic area at a nearby park and despite the trash, the ESE still found some silver. This puts my silver count at twenty-three since buying my ESE almost sixty days ago. Also picked up 8 Wheats and $3.97 in clad. Considering I only get to hunt weekends, I very satisfied with these results.

*I bought some Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish and cleaned the 43 Merc with it as it was almost entirely black. Unfortunately, it took the mellow silver tone out, but it did really made it shine. Considering what it looked like before cleaning, I'm happy with the results and afterall, it wasn't a key date.

That is a nice haul of Silver there. And to think that you found them with the X-5. Well done! It must be a really trashy area you are working and I hope you find a few more the next time you go back there. Nice looking Dimes, Good Luck and HH.
