What is the big difference???

Nice video calabash explores were always good etrac better ctx way better target trace and so on . But they all share the same way of getting rid of minerals ground fbs .
Now i,m no expert on the nox but in the time i have used it the biggest difference i have seen is the way it gets depth in hot ground and i don,t mean just minerals soil but mild soil that in places where say bottle caps have rusted away and have left a hot spot in mild ground same can be said with nails and other iron targets .

There are coins that the fbs is blind to in said soil even the ctx but the ctx has target trace and ferrous coin separation coins the nox is blind to (audio) the ctx well display on the screen with no audio (that means all targets under the coil at once ) the ctx only gives audio for the biggest signal under the coil and the rest of the targets are shown on the screen with no audio .

You are right the nox does love the low conductors but it's the way the nox handles the soil that i see as the biggest difference . sube

I have not got to witness that really here. Soil is so mild in places here almost get air test depths. Ghound over on the other forum said some of the tech guys said Nox is running 3 freqs from 7 kh to 39 kh . That 39 explains the love of low conducters and might even explain the reason why it can see those coins your talking about??? He said the fbs was running 2 freqs 3 kh and 7kh ….that explains why they love silver.

Btw I have not head to head tested it in the field here against other minelabs… thanks for the info sube.

I've been using an SE for 10+ years. I've only had the Equinox out about 5 times so far, but I feel you are right on the mid to low conductors. It's nailing those items a few inch's deeper in the iron around home sites than I'm used to. I couple of times over all depth has surprised me for sure. I feel like the nox 800 complements my SE rather than replaces it at this point. Sometime this century when I get my 6 inch coil will be the true test for me. I bought the nox because I wanted a water machine that was like my explorer...Job done I think :)
