equinox and deus nail test.

I really like watching your videos Calabash. I hope to see some Deus/ Nox comparisons soon in your test garden on buried targets. I don't think anything will replace my Deus in the foreseeable future for dirt hunting but I do hunt old iron infested saltwater lumber mill/logging camp dock sites so the Nox might be a good partner for my Sovereign GT for those areas.
 
An 11" LF coil on the Deus would be more comparable.
I didn't watch the other results/videos than the nail test because of that.
Surely you can see that the disparity in coils fudges the test and surely you still have an 11" coil to test with.
 
What you don't realize is the machine is doing pretty good with the 11 verse the 9. I will have a new nail test video up shortly do yourself a favor and watch it. I tweaked some settings and the NOX did really well.......
 
I realize the test is irrelevant unless the coils are comparable.
I don't have dog in the fight , I just want to see an equal test.
If the Equinox is better than the Deus in that test with a bigger coil then the difference should be even more obvious with a comparable coil.
 
To be honest I have a eleven and don't use it much at all. I'm testing the thing for myself as well as others if it beats the deus with nine inch coil I will be using it and will see about the six when it comes out. . I will do it for you later but don't have time going out of town and was trying to get some videos up today. The test were for me as much as others so the 11 didn't come into play..
 
Thanks for the offer and I completely understand your reasoning since I don't have the 9" and use the 11" the most.
IF you choose to make a test with the 11" do it at your leisure :thumbup:

11"Lf ,12khz , 2 tone , disc at 7(for my nails), 220 , 900
up averages a bit but solid hit at rapid swing speed
got to let the machine work for you
