Equinox 800 on small gold pickers

Will the Equinox 800 be good for crevicing in streams for small gold pickers? Will it be as good as Gold Monster 1000 or Gold Bug2 or Gold Kruzer?

With the new 6 inch coil I feel it will be good all around machine, not quite as sensitive as Monster but right close ,I been watching youtube vids on it and I got a 6 inch coil, not if the heat will go away.
Yes it should be good for small gold, prospecting 1 or 2 and go slow....my opinion.

I have a gold bug 2 and it is super sensitive and will find very small gold. It really sounds off on a #8 bird shot on a highly mineralized sand bar. I have a nox and hope it will to but so far I haven’t been able to find a 6” coil in stock.

hello
the Equinox 800 & the gold monster are very close as far as finding small gold .
i have found nuggets with mine with the 11 inch coil & just tested the 6 inch coil against the gold monster with the 5 inch coil.
yes the Equinox 800 would do the job

check this out https://youtu.be/L3mXD3_oH68

hope this helps

Thanks wltdwiz !
Very nice video!
What advantages does the GM1000 have over the Equinox ( apart from the two coils it comes with ) ?

Walt is the man. Nice vid, Walt!
My 2 cents is that the Nox is a more versatile machine overall. It will find the small gold nuggets AND is an excellent coin and relic hunter. The Monster is a specialty machine...good for one thing.
