Does the volume control on the wireless headphones work independent of the control volume? When I press the + or - button on the headphones I notice no change in volume.
 
I think it should but have never used it, only used the NOX control volume and I have pretty bad hearing loss.
 
On my bluetooth headphones, not Minelabs, the volume control is independent of the volume control on the Nox. I have the Nox volume at 25 and I can increase or decrease the volume on my headphones as I wish depending on the site.
 
It should be independent....that allow you to get the best target volume.... and allow you to adjust the phones volume
