EQUINOX 15 INCH COIL.

Dears . I want to know if anybody are use the 15 search coil under beach water . is it great . how is the ground balance and what's the maximum depth . if you have any explains tell us please . regards

Dear-----I don't have the 15" coil & feel there is no need for it---the 11" stock coil will suffice.------BTW, with your previous questions---it would be nice if you would at least say "thank you" to the people that respond to your question(s).----Just common courtesy & JMO!

I think we all get a little irritated with this guy Del...... because we think hes pretending NOT to know asking some questions that are obvious in the manual or he could learn quickly if he is using the machine. However....... in this case i would like to hear from some of the guys using the coil IN THE SALT WATER. Based on the information ive read about the coil....... coverage is what you get with maybe a tad more depth. A lot changes ..... even for the standard coil in the salt water. I cant see a gain in depth if you have to turn down the sensitivity..... which is pretty common with large coils. I also cant see it being as sensitivity.... or close to that of the standard coil once salt water is introduced. So..... how does it MOVE in the water? I dont think id be using the ML shaft with it. BUT some dont like digging tiny targets that the Nox picks up out there either so...... maybe thats an advantage? But..... id test it on open earrings and broken rings against the standard coil. I opted to NOT buy the coil at this time....... like you Del, i like the standard coil..... the 6" is just way to tiny for my use. I think i would have been more inclined to jump on TWEAKED a 9" coil.

He might also read some of the other posts from Jack Barlow it might give him the information hes looking for.
