EQUINOX 15 INCH COIL.

Thanks for the test Calabash. I just received my 15" coil today and you are right...it truly dwarfs the 11". I usually use a recovery of 4 on the beach with my 11" so I will probably stick to it with the bigger coil as well.

btw are you running the latest update on your Equinox?
 
I bought my 15 inch coil today along with the 6 inch .
I think the 15 inch is a good investment . I will use it on the sandy beaches and pastureland , extra depth and coverage are its best qualities .
The 6 inch is for Irony sights.
 
Frank... I don’t think it’s that price. Still having to flip a coin here myself....I’m watching those using them in the salt water

I've had one a few day's now and I like it however, it is a bit heavy and could use a counter balance towards the back of the shaft.

I use a power bank on the back side of the arm cuff.. It helps with the stock coil plus I can plug in the charging cable. After hunting the Nox battery is still charged and I top off the charge to the power bank. The power bank should help counter balance the 15" coil also
 
With my experience with 6 inches search coil I think its great one in Beach water because it can make a focus on targets but with 15 inches ohhh you need 1 hour to find a targets underwater .
 
Get him in the water Max. All eyes are on the classifieds.....whose going to sell one first lol.
