EQ800 Recovery Speed (Working?)

I've been busy taking a bunch of videos of my EQ800 at my local park to post on my youtube channel. I'd like to know either if I'm doing something wrong, my park has weird targets/soil, or my detector has issues. I have too much noise to make sense of things in Park2. Recovery speed doesn't seem to work for me. I made two videos of this - one at the park with I think a nickel, and another in my backyard with several different targets. I just don't see much change as I go through the numbers - unless I'm in Prospect mode and then its totally crazy. In my channel I have a comparison video of the CTX recovery speed options. That's what I'd like to see on the EQ as I swing pretty fast and its hard for me to recognize good targets from junk ones as the volumes and tones are similar.
In one of my videos I do a firmware reset just to see what changes (if it fixes itself) and it remains the same but more channel noise after the reset.

Sorry for the wrong perspective with my phone and poor audio.
There are also videos showing how where your coil is when you hit pinpoint makes a difference, interference behavior to a CTX3030, bizarre Park2 noise and sensitivity, etc. I'm trying to figure this beast out but not sure mine is like yours.

Brian when you change modes, reset, start up etc you will need to perform a noise cancel. Adjusting you sensitivity in conjunction will help.
Try your recovery test in different modes. I would move you test plot from the deck to a quite spot in your yard.

There is a second video thereRecovery speed at my park of the test at the park instead of the deck and there it should be really quiet as no electrical etc. I also have the other tests/vids there done at the park same day where I show NC is random unless a noise source is nearby (my CTX on). Adjusting sensitivity drops everything down - target volume/detection, emi, and channel noise. I would expect to be able to run sensitivity at 25 for depth if the detector is quiet standing still. Emi doesn’t change if you move your coil - it is a more general effect.
The second video goes through the detect modes with same recovery settings and basically shows it doesn’t do much except for weird extremely long tones in Prospect mode. There is also a noticable change beween settings 3 and 4. Can someone do a similar recovery speed video to show how you think it is working better than here please.

I watched the vid. Mine does that if a coin is on top of the ground. It appears you were detecting a nickel on top of the ground?
