We only had snow for about a week this year but my friend and I took full advantage of it. It is so peaceful and beautiful out on the Trans-Canada trail at the back of our houses on a horse in the winter. The train used to travel back there but they pulled up the tracks about 10 years ago and it has been a good riding trail ever since. It is one of the best places in the world to hike or ride

fall/summer weather here to even have a winter. My roses are trying to bud out. Everything is confused. I told Scott he might end up mowing the yard one more time!

When I was in Canada, Alice took me on a trail ride with one of her friends. That's when I shot the photo of Royal and Tiny, the one he uses at the top of the forum. I haven't been on a horse in a while, and haven't been on one since! Sure looks lovely, though! Thanks for sharing! :)
