Enjoying detecting with the E-Trac

I can't put words to how much I enjoy using the Etrac...... It is awesome for lack of other descriptions will suffice.

I have gone back to places I would have sworn were hunted out. Nope ! I was wrong.
The Etrac managed to hit a lot of targets other top of the line detectors just plain missed..
Now I am not saying I will not miss a target or two..I am saying by going over the exact same areas with the E- trac as I did with several other detectors..THE ETRAC found targets the others missed.
Not only targets missed, but in fact targets the other detectors did not see..

Some of the reasons were lack of EMI noise using the Etrac... Non complete nulling on targets like other machines do. Better depth. Better separation in trash..which I suppose is the same as less nulling..

So everyone, if you have not re-hunted some of your areas you found good targets in the past. with the Etrac..Please do so. You will be very surprised. As I am..

I couldn't have said it better. I have had excellent results going back over sites I have pounded. It seems like every time a new machine comes out they tout about making your old sites new again. Well the Etrac does just that. I remember when the Etrac came out with all the users claims of deep treasure, smooth operation, wet salt capability etc...... I thought it was hype from people paying too much for a machine. I was wrong. It's worth every dollar. PS: It's just not a coin machine. I have dug a lot of bullets. Some super deep as well.

Good on rings too.if one does some sample tests and knows about what numbers to dig.. I use Goes4Ever settings in my area and to tell you the truth. They really brought the E-trac to life here.
........................................... just the right settings for really super results. One other thing I learned on my own. I do a noise cancel. Detect for awhile and if things seem slow redo the noise cancel...In my area this seems to give a bit of an extra detecting ability.. I do not lay the coil on the ground while noise cancel is running.. 12" or so above the ground works perfect. Some claim on the ground works better..Unless there is something electrical in the ground I can't see where that would benefit anything..

I have found plenty of rings. Search youtube for "mowerdog the ring finders". Anyway I have been setting my power to 30 before noise cancelling at 12 inches. Then I able to run 28 to 30 to punch a little deeper. It may just be in my head - but I think it's working? Try it and let me know?

Only one of THE BEST!!!! ;)

3 weeks ago running power at 30 I hit a Merc and Barber in the same hole at a measured 9 inches. Take in consideration the grass and that was a 10+inch hit. But before I dug I switched to auto sens +3 that was running 22 and I couldn't get the hit. So at the right places forcing your machine to go just a little deeper can result in some great finds.
