This is very interesting the image is of 2 people stood on a bridge near a building next to a tree.. I'm baffled is this of any significance?

I have no idea of what it could be other than an ornate pc of an old wood stove or
possibly a pot. Looks like made of iron. Did you notice the 2 buffalo below the
log cabin? Also, looks like an eagle above the cabin near the rim. Very pictorial
portrait of times just after the west was settled. Appears the top is curled like a
cooking pot or drinking cup would be. ?????? Beautiful.. Maby where you found
it would shed some light. Was it close to an old homesite or out in a field? Did you
find any more hits of iron and if you did, did it look as if it could have been an old
household item?

Hi Glenn I found it on my father's land (2 acres) in north wales which is full of iron, lead, ww1/2 military. I have also had hammered silver coins dating back to the 1500's also french and iris 1600-1800's. The place has me baffled. I didn't notice the buffalo.. its a small flat piece maybe 2" by 1". Thanks for the feedback pal.

Is that a crack, in the lower left, or is it in two pieces. Appears to be cast iron ?

Hi reef.. its broken in the bottom corner I'm not sure on the material

It's amazing that you found both pieces. Maybe there's more ?

The building looks like it is built of stone with a tiled roof. The metal looks like brass. I don't see the buffalo. The trees don't look like American West neither does the long and narrow "cabin". or the arched bridge. I Wales it could be anything from a Victorian broach to a Roman item and anything in between.

Its the odd things that make this activity interesting.
