English Coins!

Goldstrike

Well-known member
I spent a couple of weeks in England recently and although I didn't find any Saxon gold hoards or any relics that were museum worthy (which I was hoping for)!!! I did find a few old coins. I think the real treasure was just being in England and soaking up the feeling of being in places that stretched far back into history. I did come home feeling fully satisfied though and now I am ready to hit the beaches here in sunny Southern California and get some (hopefully gold) bling!!!
P.s. Does anyone realise that some English coins are magnetic? I found those in the pic were magnetic!

Welcome home.. gotta be a long flight from cali to england... i did find a 5 cent euro or irish coin a while back and yes it is magnetic. . Now get out there and find some gold..
