Usually have always kept my Clad. However, decided that I'm going to cash out and buy some more Silver or 1/10 gold. Takes up less space & better investment than Clad. What do you do with Yours???????

After about 1600 dollars worth....I started taking it to the bank......donating some to Whites museum and some to charity.....Ive lost track now.

I tumbled the nickels, dimes, and quarters but just washed off the cents. It all made it through the bank's sorter without problems. Some years I donate that amount to the local historical society.

I clean all my clad and penny finds and run them thru the coin counter at my credit union. Take the results in green money. Some I use to purchase silver and some I hold on to for future purchases of metal detecting supplies.

I bathe them in nitric acid quickly then rinse and run through the Penny Arcade at the bank. Then the kids get it. Use to just let it sit in bucket. Depreciation of the dollar abd kids.

I buy metal detector batteries with them...

I'm fortunate to work 12a-8a and require very little sleep. Literally try to detect everyday and always scouting for new places.

My bank used to have a coin machine I would run it through. They got rid of it :veryangry: now spend the quarters and dollars and run the clean and semi clean through a coinstar (rip offs) the super crusty stuff I do a vinger shake first... Ive jammed up the local coin star multiple times and figure they deserved it for their outrageous rates :nopity:

Exactly!!

Trade my clad in for another detector and a plasma cutter. :clapping:
