emulator

Go to mlotv.com and sign up. It's a place dedicated to Minelab owners. I got the most recent version of the emulator last week from there and you can also download various program ZIP files as well.

Can someone explain to me what an emulator program is and what purpose it serves? I hate to be so ignorent but I guess I just am.
Thanks you,
Don

Don,

The emulator is a really useful tool for anybody wishing to familiarize themselves with the operation of the Explorer...there's one for the Etrac as well. It simply provided an opportunity to learn the menu functions and become accustomed to creating patterns among other things. I highly recommend it for anybody not yet used to operating an Explorer. You can even load ZIP files in it which include a target icon and FE/CO numbers which when loaded appear on screen and provide an audible signal and ID numbers. Some features are emulated and some are simulated. Emulated features react/respond EXACTLY like the real deal. Fun to play with and certainly shaves some time of the learning curve for this machine. Try it out. www.mlotv.com is where I downloaded the files. It's probably available elsewhere too.

Good luck and have fun.

go to thebeepgoeson.com he has the emulator as a down load as well as US coins.
