Empty Nest

Dennis

New member
Yesterday my little girl turned 18. I just got home after dropping her off at the airport today. The house seems strangely quiet.
Please pray for her safety
Aloha, Dennis

Prayers on the way!

Praying for your daughter's safety in all she does and wherever she goes and you also! You will get used to the empty nest syndrome and enjoy it after awhile while still loving and missing her! I've been alone for many years except for the short time I had my brother with me before he passed away! I still miss him, but also enjoy being able to do what I want to do and when I want to do it! Life goes on! Hope your sister and your twin nieces are doing okay! Thanks for dropping by and letting us know you are still alive and kicking! ;) May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Praying! It's tough letting go. My son and daughter are both out of the house now. I do get to see them often but it's not like having them right there with me. Having an "empty nest" has its drawbacks, as well as its advantages. While I miss and fret over my kids, I do enjoy the peace & quiet and the freedoms (for lack of a better term) that I didn't have for many years! I do miss those days but I reckon we have moved on into the next stage of our lives. Your kids will always be in and on your heart, but it gets easier with time.
