Emailed Detech About New 13" Coil

Asked them if they have any plans to make it for the Sovereign. Seems like they would since they are making it for the M6/MXT, along with some other machines . Since Minelab has been making the Sovereign for years I bet there are more potential buyers for that new coil then there would be for certain other platforms.

The jury is still out on if that coil is deeper than the 12x10, but just the same. I'll post what they tell me when they respond back.

I just watched 3 video,s on the new 13" coil all on the E-Trac seems all where impressed with it,s depth and seperation in trasy area,s , i would,nt mind putting one on my Sov.GT if ? Detech makes one in the future . Jim

Now there are two coils on my wish list for the Soveriegn GT- a 6x8 SEF and the 13" Detech Ultimate DD. Ive got the Ultimate on my DFX right now and I'm trying to dodge the rain and snow showers here to test it. HH. Matt

Hi Matt i would like to hear how well that 13" coil did on your DFX , i just got back my DFX from the fix shop it,s like new now the 10x12 SEF is on it and that is a great coil it should be a good comparision . Now only if Detech makes one for the Sov GT and is it as good as the S-12 coil . Jim GH

Hey Jim. I think everyone is looking forward to the comparison of the SEF 10x12 to the new 13" Ultimate DD. I was just about to buy the SEF for my DFX when I got JW's message about the Ultimate. I figured for ten dollars more I'd take the chance. So far so good. More info yet to come. HH. Matt
