Elite vs GT battery packs

Hi guys.
I'm sure that this question has probably been asked ad nauseum but I need to know. Is are the Sovereign Gt and Elite battery packs interchangeable? I own an Elite and I figure that GT battery packs will be all that's avaiable now.

yep they work , the other one is the musketeer battery it works as well, I think there is one more that works too .........Gt, elite,& musky are all interchangeable.......And I think the Eureka gold is the same battery

I looked at my price list and the Elite battery pack is still available yet. Like Adam says The pack for the Elite, GT and the Advantage are all the same other than the color of them. The Elite is silver, the GT blue and the Advantage is black. I have a GT and was able to pick up a Advantage pack and both charger brand new and the new style hip mount bag for $50 off one of the classified last year, so now i have a extra rechargeable pack other than the pack is black instead of blue.
