In the field the rechargeable would give a couple of hunts,in the middle of my third hunt the death squaw and the switch to the alkaline pack.My duration with my rechargeable battery about 16 hours.The Alkalines were always used as a backup and not replaced that often,which if I hunted a lot maybe a couple of weeks.But to run steady on the Alkalines 16-18 hours.I always let the rechargeable run down to the death squawk before recharging.My recharging time 12-14 hours.Hope that helps.
