Hi all i am new to metal detectoring i have ybeen looking elite 2200 as great starter detector any help would nice thank you i am 70 years old have great day god bless

The Quick Draw Pro would be a better choice for $185, IMO. More depth (1" more), lighter, has TID, volume control, 10" concentric coil, uses 1 9v battery and has a pinpoint button with depth feature.

I have the 2200 and the 3300. Both machines I have 0 complaints about and neither machine has depth issues. Both love coins. The 2200 is a fine starter machine imo
