Any success doing what? Other than seeing how static electricity works I can see no use for this? Are you trying to use it to locate something?

I bought a thomas model 20 its suppose to be a long range detecting tool am pretty skeptical of the machine but am always looking to add to my detecting arsenal.

Larry, how can you say such a thing?? I mean, didn't you ever see the advertisement pictures of the guy posed next to the jar of gold or silver coins he found? Afterall, you can't argue with photographic proof, now can you? :drool:

It's easy: point the thing at likely looking ruins. Then pull out your detector to "pinpoint", and presto, there's going to be metal .... perhaps even a goodie there.
 
If u r good with dowsing rods u may find something with it (other than ur wallet is much thinner), dowsing L rods are much cheaper though.
